Ethos & Approach
Offering Person-Centred Curiosity
I value diversity in culture, race, spirituality, gender and resiliency, as I seek to be curious in everyone’s unique life experiences and challenges in a non-judgment way.
Using Relational Healing Experiences for Trauma
I use attachment-based, experiential psychotherapy to process old traumatic wounds and bring unconscious relational patterns into awareness so that you can make better decisions. I am excited about these evidence-based techniques because they help promote new brain neural pathways for lasting healing and change.
Relating to Corporate Business Pressures
My many decades of business and people management within the Healthcare, Teleco, Energy and Tech sectors equip me to understand and help high achievers within workplace corporate settings to navigate through toxic cultures, stressful work environments and work-life balance.
Believing in Healthy Families
As a wife, mother, sister, and child, I am passionate about building healthy individuals into healthy families. I have an Asian heritage and appreciate how to overcome cultural clashes between family and societal dynamics. I am also a co-founder of MotherlyCare, which offers postpartum services tailored for new parents to be physically and emotionally ready for their new little ones, right from the get-go.
Integrating Spiritual Health for Well-Rounded Care
When welcomed, I incorporate spiritual health into traditional counselling psychotherapy to nurture our spiritual strengths (i.e. what gives us hope and resilience) and heal from spiritual distresses (i.e. hurts stemming from religious institutions, reason for suffering). Spiritual health is defined by exploring our belief systems about our life purpose and moral compass in relation to nature, the universe, God, Creator, and Higher Powers.
